[Kyna is antsy when she shows up at Rome's door, fidgeting in place as she waits for him to answer. She's got a bag slung over one shoulder with all the decent food she could scrounge up, as promised. It feels like the least she can do. For as much as he tells her not to apologize, she still feels terrible. Having someone die for her is not something she ever thought she'd experience, and she can't work out if Rome did it out of some sense of duty or because they're friends. She's not really sure which she'd prefer.

When he answers, she's got her fingers half tangled in the chain of her necklace.]

Um, hey.

[He frowns, pulling back a little- he might as well let her in, and so he takes a step back from the doorway so that she can enter.]

Yes.

[It's the simplest answer.]

It isn't- it's not severe. You don't have to worry.

[She follows him inside, reaching up to toy with her necklace again automatically. Her magic is all screwed up, but she doesn't need to be able to actually use magic to cast the spell locked in the pendant. She's just not sure if Rome will go for it or if he'll just keep deflecting.]

I can try to fix it. Make it feel a little better, maybe?
